WPW’s Phytomedicinal Herbal Dog Shampoo Bar

WPW’s Phytomedicinal Herbal Dog Shampoo bar is handmade in small batches, detergent-free, and coordinated to ease and help common reasons why your canine friend may be experiencing itchiness. Using all natural herbs and a luxurious goats milk soap base will not only topically help soothe and help repair injuries, abrasions, superficial wounds, sunburn, scratches, and other common skin related issues. This formula also nourishes the skin and provides a refreshing scent of aloe and clover. WPW’s Herbal Shampoo Bars are made by a Professional Pet Groomer and Master Pet Herbalist. 

Each bar is AT LEAST 4 oz though it may be over 4 oz due to the handmade nature of the item. Each bar is very long lasting if used properly. Once you are done using the bar, it is best to let the bar dry completely and place it into a container or bag to prevent it from getting dirty or unintentionally wet until your next use. 

To use: Rinse your pet with clean water, wet soap bar, scrub bar directly into coat or use a shower pouf or bar soap exfoliation bag, lather coat and skin avoiding the eyes and mouth, leave on for 3-5 minutes, rinse with clean water. For maximum skin benefit follow up with your favorite pet formulated conditioner or an apple cider vinegar rinse.

How to do an apple cider vinegar rinse: Use 1 TBSP ACV with 1 pint of clean water. Rinse the coat with the solution. Rinse the coat with clean water. 2 TBSP of powdered ACV is included with each bar of soap as a free gift!

Colloidal Oatmeal- A powerful anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, antioxidant, and anti-fungal. Known to help conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. Strengthens the skin’s barrier to help reduce possible irritation from allergens and free radicals. Can help soothe topical itching, pain, and promote healing of the skin. Great for sensitive skin all around.

Calendula (Marigold)- Soothing to dermatitis and promotes wound healing

Gotu kola- Soothing to eczema and promotes faster topical wound healing

Goats milk soap- Helps soothe itching and is exfoliating and moisturizing. Great for sensitive skin. Provides a heavy lather for great coverage. Known to soothe conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, acne, and dermatitis. The fatty acids also help with the benefits of the soap to penetrate the skin.

Apple Cider Vinegar (if using)- May help reduce inflammation and itching caused by skin conditions such as hot spots or eczema. May also help balance the pH of the skin, which may help reduce dandruff and flakiness.
